A Gorgeous Decorating Idea for a Budget Friendly Fall Mantel

Now that fall has finally arrived, the cooler weather is right around the corner.  And then, before you know it, the holidays are going to be here.  How can that be?  Wasn’t it just yesterday that school was getting out?

rustic Fall Mantel Decor

One of the things that’s customary to do when Fall arrives is to update your home decor. The fireplace mantel is the prefect place to change out for a whole new look.  It’s fairly small, and contained, so there’s not a huge expense to it either.  Check out our other Fall Mantel decor idea, too.

The best part of this fall mantel decoration might be the fact that it’s so affordable, and so accessible.  It was created using items from Target and Amazon. Links may be affiliate links.

Salvaged Wood Pane Window – Rustic windows are so very popular right now.  This one is a great addition to your mantel.  the squares are designed to hold items that are 12 x 12 inches.

Nearly Natural 28 inch Harvest Wreath – This is a very large, very impressive wreath.  It’s great on your front door, or above your fireplace mantel. So prefect to welcome fall in – in style!

Metal Lantern with Flickering Flamesless Candle – Every mantel needs a little light, whether it’s from a lamp or some candles. This lantern takes the best of both worlds and adds some fab rustic flair.  It’s a real statement piece, and oh such a bargain.

Black Pillar Candlestick – A perfect compliment to the Lantern above.  This candlestick is a nice size and an even better price.

Orange Pillar Candle (unscented) – The orange of this unscented pillar candle is just a great accent shade to add to the mantle.  This is unscented, so it doesn’t interfere with any other air fresheners in your home.

Bark Wood Accent Decor Bowl  – Bark is a major player in the rustic decor genre. This bowl is great for your mantle, and adds some subtle rustica to your decor. Similar, but different to that shown. And there’s also a birch bowl that’s a little smaller.

Artificial Gourds  – Nothing says fall like all the gourds that start appearing everywhere.  These artificial ones won’t go bad, and won’t bring any ickies with them. Pile them up in a bowl.

Mason Jar Candle Votive Holder  – These are so stinkin’ adorable!  Use them with flameless tealights for the perfect flicker.  They’ll look great on your mantel, but imagine them at a buffet or lining a table for a party. They come 3 to a pack, and we’re using all 3 in this layout.

Are you a fireplace mantel decorator?  What’s your favorite item that’s featured here?
