Go Back to School with Ivy Bridge College + $1000 Tuition Discount

I attended college way back in the stone age – the late 90s and early 2000s.  When I was in college, we didn’t have the option of attending classes online.  Oh no.  We had to actually get up, and get dressed, go to the campus, and sit there for hours upon hours.  And because I’m a glutton for punishment, and want to get on to bigger and better things. I would schedule all of my classes in one day.

We would also need to go to the campus for everything that we needed.  Ready to register?  Down to the Registrar’s office and hope that there‘s still room in the classes you want or need.  Have a financial aid question?  Head over to the financial aid office.  Need your student ID?  Well, that’s taken care of at the Student Government office.  You could easily spend a whole ‘nother day running errands around the campus!

Sometimes, I struggle to find motivation.  It may be because I work at home for my day job about half the time, or I find that I work really well late at night.  Sometimes, I feel like I sit and stare at the computer screen for hours and never get anything accomplished.  I’m not sure if it’s motivation, waiting for inspiration, or what!?

When I was in college, I am sure I had some of the same issues.  No, I know I had some of the same issues.  I can remember sitting there, working on papers and having no idea what to do or how to get to the point I wanted to make.  How I wish that Studymode.com had been around back then!

Are you familiar with Box Tops for Education?  They’re points that can be collected  and redeemed for all kind of items for schools.

Box tops for Education was started in 1996 in California.  I think I was in 8th grade or so, and our school was one of the pilot schools for the program.  Back then, when program rolled out, it was only available on a few items, like select General Mills cereals.  Nowadays, there are tons of products that have box tops attached to them.  I mean, I recently purchased a pack of socks that had box tops on them!  As did a package of shirts,

eTextbooks – Who Knew?

etextbooks (500 x 260) eTextbooks Who Knew?

It’s back to school time again!  Are you ready?  I am most definitely not prepared for school to start.  I guess it’s a good thing that I don’t have to go then, isn’t it!

A couple years ago I started on my Masters degree.  In fact, that was part of the reason I relocated to the Midwest.  The program I wanted to attend was located in the Midwest.  I chose this path, even though the school where I did my undergrad was highly respected and had a masters program.  I suppose I was ready for a change.

Sooo…I took a job transfer, uprooted myself and moved halfway across the continent.  All to pursue my educational goal.  It wasn’t long before the degree got pushed to the back burner, though.

I wish CourseSmart had been around when I was attending school.  You can rent e-versions of textbooks.  How amazingly awesome is that?  You not only don’t have to spend absurd amounts of money on books, but you don’t have to lug around the heavy books either.  I mean, that’s a workout in itself, right?

Anyway, with these eTextbooks, you can just download them to your e-reader, iPad, iPhone, or Droid.  Don’t have any of those gadgets?  Never fear!  You can also download the digital books to your laptop or desktop computer.  CourseSmart has an app that will let you read your book on just about whatever format you need.  eResources have become really commonplace in the past couple of years.

CourseSmart is the #1 leader in eTextbooks and digital course materials.  When you buy the digital textbooks, you can save up to 60 percent off the price of printed textbooks.   That money can really start to add up, too.   In a semester or two you could pay for an iPad from the textbook money saved.

Whether you’re attending school, or you have a kid that’s going off to college, check out CourseSmart for your book needs.
