Many golf courses still have a dress code required to play on their course. Not only does this maintain the style and dignity that accompanies the sport, but it also ensures that players don’t show up in clothing that is inappropriate for the atmosphere. The great thing about today’s golf attire is that most pieces are multifunctional and can be worn off of the golf course just as easily as on. That means that enthusiasts or beginners don’t have to bust their budget on an entire new wardrobe of golf clothes, but can rely on cheap dress shirts and nice slacks to fit the bill.
Sometimes, men can be so difficult to shop for. What do you get them? I mean, sometimes I’d like to get something that’s not a video game or game system credits. Here are a few great gift ideas of things that make great gifts for the fellas in your life.
Cell phone case.
There are some really gorgeous cases out there right now. Ones that can really show your personality, like tooled leather, solid colors, or unique designs. If he’s somewhat hard on his phone, try one of the cases that are designed to really safeguard and protect your phone.
We all have that man in our life. The dude that shows up to whatever event wearing a t-shirt and cargo shorts. He thinks he’s looking good, and everyone else has a slight cringe. He has potential! These fashion tips for men just may help him find his own style.
T Shirts are okay to wear. There are tons of great designer shirts out there that look amazing. Some are screen printed with original artwork, while others just have a great cut or a fantastic fit. But please – let’s leave the double entendre shirts alone. There’s a time and a place for those, but it’s not when you’re out and about.
Men’s Fashion has come a long way in the past 7-10 years. It used to be that they had basically two choices – a suit and tie or jeans and a t-shirt. I mean, sure…there were the times that they wore a button down and a pair of slacks, but not usually as an everyday look.
And the options for mens shoes were limiting, to say the least! You had athletic shoes, which were fairly plain and, well, athletic looking. You had some version of dress shoes, generally a wing-tip or something similar. And then there was the in-between casual shoe – a loafer or a deck shoe. Yeah. Not always such a good look. So, basically, the fellas had three options – look like a schlub in a t-shirt and jeans, be all preppied out in a polo and slacks or jeans with deck shoes, or wear a suit and tie.
When I was a kid, I watched a lot of TV. I mean, a LOT of television. Basically, that was all I did besides go swimming. My favorite TV shows were the daytime game shows like Press Your Luck and Let’s Make a Deal. One of the brands that I remember being featured regularly was Speidel Watches.
In fact, my grandmother had a Speidel watch, and I thought that was one of the most amazing things. I even asked her if she’d been on TV, as she couldn’t have possibly, y’know, purchased the watch herself.
Did you know that tons of famous men wear hairpieces? Some wear toupees while others wear full on mens wigs. Some are very subtle, and others are pretty obvious.
Who are these folically challenged fellas, you ask? Well, there’s a ton of them, but here are a few fun bald celebrities.
William Shatner has worn a hairpiece for many, many years. In Star Trek II, you can even see his hair piece move! The horror! Look carefully, and you can see the edges of his hairpiece in the above photo. He has since had hair plugs, erm, I mean hair replacement surgery.
