This review and giveaway was made possible by Double Duty Divas and Febreze. I was compensated for my participation in this campaign, but all opinions are 100% mine.
When I was a kid, I always hesitated when we were going to my grandmother’s house. Not only did her house have the regular kind of odd grandma smells of the 1980s, she also had cats. And baby turtles. You know what that means, right? UGH!!! That place STANK!!
While there were things she could have done to make her house smell better, that lady definitely could have used some Febreze. Of course, that was long before Febreze was available on the market.
Looking back, I’m about 90% sure my grandmother had gone noseblind to the odors in her house. What’s noseblind, you ask? Noseblind is when you get used to the smells and odors in your environment, and no longer notice them.
Anyway, that is one of my great fears. What if my house smells funky and I don’t know it. Could that happen to me? Oh, I hope not. To test out my new place, I invited some friends over. Of course, they thought they were just gonna kick it and have a good time. Nope, not when you come over here. Of course, I put them to work.
First, they took a survey to see what they thought my house smelled like. Secretly, or maybe not so secretly, I was hoping it didn’t smell bad. It didn’t smell bad, it was mostly just stuffy and slightly stale. I get that – I never open my windows, and rely on the A/C for ventilation. As I was making my friends help me put some furniture together, we ordered pizza. After it arrived, I made them take another test as to the scent of the house – this time the house smelled like food. Finally, we sprayed Febreze and took a last quiz. This time the house smelled good and no longer like pizza. Fantastic!!
Would you like to take the noseblind test for yourself? You’re in luck! You can win a Febreze prize pack of
