My husband and I travel quite a bit. I stay up later than he does, which is fine when we're home, but in a hotel room I can't leave the lights or he can't sleep.  I'd use this for reading.

I have a hard time seeing to read, so it will help there. But I see my hubby stealing it to use when he works in dark nooks & crannies or under the car hood!
