I am not a coffee drinker per se. I do love me some frou-frou fancy coffee house beverages every so often, but I don’t drink coffee on a daily basis. Tea, however, is different. We thoroughly enjoy tea, in its many formats and flavors; iced in the summer, hot tea when it is cold outside.
I particularly enjoy a good, strong tea over ice. I’m not much of a soda drinker and iced tea has been my beverage of choice for many years. Paisley Tea Company has recently introduced a handful of traditional English style teas which are full of flavor and contain the best part of tea. They offer organic teas, and are made with traditional recognizable blends.
What makes the Paisley Tea Company products special, you may ask? First they are organic, which is a difficult thing to find these days (less than 5 percent of the world’s tea is certified organic). Organic tea means no pesticides; just pure tea goodness. Next, their blends taste good! Ginger Green has a slight hint of ginger in a beautiful green tea base; their English Breakfast blend comes in both regular and decaffeinated blends. Although tea contains one third to one half as much caffeine as coffee, the decaf contains even less caffeine than the Standard English Breakfast Tea.
My personal favorite is the English Breakfast Tea that I enjoy over ice, but also use it to make some killer Chai (recipe coming soon!). Either hot or cold, plain, or with a little milk and sweetener, the Paisley Tea Company line could become a great everyday beverage.
You can purchase Paisley organic teas at your local fine retailer, or directly from the company on their site. Be sure to connect with them on Twitter or facebook, too.
