Stacy from Couponing with Boys shared this on Facebook and I thought, “Hey, this is kind of awesome!” Matilda, an 8 year old from CT, is trying to raise money for the Wounded Warriors program. Her plan is to get people to send her postcards. She wants to donate $0.25 from her allowance for each postcard that she receives. Matilda’s Postcards Project goal is 100 postcards in 4 months.
Stacy’s idea, which I think is totally awesome, is to send the postcard in an envelope with the $0.25. Because, hey, almost everyone has a quarter they can pass along. And the number of postcards that could come in will bankrupt a well-meaning 3rd grader.
Are you interested in helping Matilda out? Of course you are!! You can send your postcard to:

Matilda loves learning about new places, too. So, if you could send her a postcard that had facts about your area, she'd love that!
