eTextbooks – Who Knew?

CourseSmart for your etextbook needs

It’s back to school time again!  Are you ready?  I am most definitely not prepared for school to start.  I guess it’s a good thing that I don’t have to go then, isn’t it!

A couple years ago I started on my Masters degree.  In fact, that was part of the reason I relocated to the Midwest.  The program I wanted to attend was located in the Midwest.  I chose this path, even though the school where I did my undergrad was highly respected and had a masters program.  I suppose I was ready for a change.

Sooo…I took a job transfer, uprooted myself and moved halfway across the continent.  All to pursue my educational goal.  It wasn’t long before the degree got pushed to the back burner, though.

I wish CourseSmart had been around when I was attending school.  You can rent e-versions of textbooks.  How amazingly awesome is that?  You not only don’t have to spend absurd amounts of money on books, but you don’t have to lug around the heavy books either.  I mean, that’s a workout in itself, right?

Anyway, with these eTextbooks, you can just download them to your e-reader, iPad, iPhone, or Droid.  Don’t have any of those gadgets?  Never fear!  You can also download the digital books to your laptop or desktop computer.  CourseSmart has an app that will let you read your book on just about whatever format you need.  eResources have become really commonplace in the past couple of years.

CourseSmart is the #1 leader in eTextbooks and digital course materials.  When you buy the digital textbooks, you can save up to 60 percent off the price of printed textbooks.   That money can really start to add up, too.   In a semester or two you could pay for an iPad from the textbook money saved.

Whether you’re attending school, or you have a kid that’s going off to college, check out CourseSmart for your book needs.

I'm right there with you, where were etextbooks when I was in school?  I can remember paying an arm and a leg for books every semester.  I resold them, but never got near as much money back as I paid for them the first time:(

You tell it! I know that e-textbooks still don't sell as much as regular textbooks, I wonder if it's just that people don't know they're out there or they don't know there are tools like CourseSmart that make them easy to use?
