Do you have a special even coming up? I know I have a couple of weddings, two graduations, and I’m sure there’s something else that I’m forgetting. Maybe you have to prepare for prom or another formal event?
One of the biggest things is that these events are going to be immortalized forever. Therefore, you need to be picture-perfect. As if there wasn’t enough pressure without that being added in, right? Well, Walgreens Beauty Department is here to help.
I have to admit – I had always written off the Walgreens Beauty Department as dated and out of touch. Perhaps it was I that was dated and out of touch instead. Walgreens has a wide variety of cosmetics, ranging from known mass market brands like Revlon and Covergirl to Natural brands like Burt’s Bees and Jason.
Walgreens also has a beauty advisor on staff to help answer your questions and get you outfitted. How awesome is that? We’ve all come home with that weird foundation or eye shadow that is just an odd shade. The beauty advisor will help you avoid that.
Back to the events, though. For the first wedding, which is outdoors the end of April, I plan to go for a soft, romantic look. I think that the Conair Infinity Curl Wand would help me with my naturally wavy hair. I’m also totally intrigued by Maybelline’s new Eye Studio Color Tattoo Eyeshadow. I fear that those may be a little too intense for this wedding. I want to stand out, but not because of the intense eye color! And I definitely don’t want to upstage the bride – that would just be bad.
I’m normally a mineral makeup girl, but have been thinking about breaking out of that box. I am thinking that I might give the new Revlon Photoready airbrush mousse foundation a whirl, too. My skin is fairly even-textured, so I don’t have that to worry about too much. I really want the photo-flawless finish!
I haven’t thought about what I’m going to do for eyes or lips yet. Hmmm…Any ideas? Let me know in the comments.
