As I mentioned, I've been wanting to link up with Fatty Friday at Going Crazy, Wanna Go? I've had my theme and everything!! Life has just been…busy. Actually, I usually forget until Friday mid-day and by the time I get around to it, it's late Friday night. Next week, I tell myself. For sure, next week. It's a vicious, vicious cycle.
As I write this, it's midnight on Thursday night and I'm wide awake because I just drank a Venti mocha from Starbucks. Bad idea on two accounts, lol. Anyway. I have decided to share my food diary and my exercise tracker with everyone. Yup, I'm letting it all hang out.
During the summer, after my wedding epiphany, I decided to get back in shape. I didn't get fat overnight, and I know I'm not going to get back in shape overnight. I started walking regularly. I started eating better, not having nachos everyday. And the pounds? They started falling off. By the time fall rolled around, I had shed 43 lbs. I had dropped 3 sizes. Life was going pretty good.
One of the tools I used was Fitclick. If I input my exercise, it would track my calories burned. I began tracking every single thing I ate. Almost obsessively, some might say. The best part? It's totally free! There are features you can pay for, but I don't use them. And Fitclick is ridiculously easy to use.
Then it got too cold to walk every day. The bad habits started creeping back in. Sure, I'll have some fries. And maybe an order of mozzarella sticks. Ooohhh….pasta! Don't mind if I do! I gained a bit of weight back (~10 lbs or so, just enough to make my skinny pants feel tight.) So back to Fitclick we go.
